The bigger the better. This is the motto of the changing capitalism and the message that goes hand in hand with the idea of progress. Bigger, quicker, and shinier. Always more. And Disney World, the giant born in the 70's is leading the pack. Once the children are seduced through animation characters, the aim is to keep the family inside of the 65km² as long as possible. Whether in the fun fair attractions or their respective restaurants and hotels. The longer the more income is generated.
The photographic project called Fantasia Resort is the representation and description of all these resorts fictionally created to form a claim, a visual attraction. Therefore the human figures become a parody and the represented forms, shapes and colors dissolve into a thin line between reality and fiction.
Sarcastically, an icon of the progress within the world of entertainment like Disney turns a bit old fashion in some of his premises becoming suddenly a dying monster of capitalism.
