Arnau lives and works in Barcelona. Firstly He studied DOP until 2009 in ESCAC, and He started to work in Cinema and Video. After 2017 He fully focused on Photography working as a freelancer. He had been exhibited in some Spanish festivals like Getxophoto, Panòramic, ArtPhoto Bcn, Menorca DocFest, Revela’t, Mirades, Fineart Igualada, or Pa-ta-ta in Granada. His pictures appeared in magazines like El País Semanal, Wired, The British Journal of Photography, GUP, De Morgen, Ignant, and De Standaard. He was selected to Encontros da artistas novos residency and the Fabra i Coats residency in Barcelona.
He released three photobooks: “A trilogy of Unusual Architectures” (Noom Books 2020), “Flash” (2021), and recently “Free Party”. Nowadays He combines personal projects with assignments related to architecture and design. He is part of the organization of Mirades Festival, a photography festival based in Girona.
